Eligibility

Canadian residents aged 18 years or older, excluding in Alberta and Quebec, who are:

  • Realtors licensed in the province in which they do business
  • Real estate brokerage owners if they have not entered into an agreement with CIBC to participate in a Business Referral Program (BRP)
  • Sales employees of approved residential builders and real estate developer
  • Registered insurance brokers
  • Certified financial planners
  • Chartered Accountants

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Program:

  • Employees of CIBC or the Program Administrator or their respective affiliates
  • Lawyers
  • Mortgage brokers and their employees

Any other individual not approved for membership by CIBC, in its sole discretion

You can earn loyalty points on qualified funded mortgages which include a mortgage in respect of a:

  • Residential purchase of an owner occupied or rental property
  • Switch/transfer in of a mortgage from another financial institution to CIBC
  • Refinance of a mortgage from another financial institution

The following do not constitute a qualified mortgage referral and therefore are not eligible for loyalty program in the Program:

  • Subsidized mortgages
  • Ports
  • Progress/multiple draw mortgages including new construction
  • Refinance, conversion or renewal of a CIBC mortgage
  • Mortgage referrals by a realtor if their name or their real estate brokerage name does not appear on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, representing the buyer
  • Mortgage referrals by a builder sales person if their name does not appear on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale representing the buyer
  • Mortgage referrals to a mortgage advisor by an immediate family member

Yes, you will earn loyalty points on the funding of a personal mortgage, provided it meets product eligibility requirements.

Yes, mortgages that are processed through a CIBC Mortgage Option Specialist are eligible for loyalty points.

Your Account

You can access your Partner Rewards Program account through the program portal partnerrewardsprogram.com. You should bookmark this site for future use.

Your username is the name you selected when you first registered on the program.

As part of the login process, you can select either ‘Forgot Username’ or ‘Forgot Password’ and you will be guided through the reset process.

Properties located within Alberta and Quebec are not eligible for Partner Rewards Program loyalty points.

You must first be registered on the Partner Rewards Program to begin receiving loyalty points for referrals.

There may be financial and tax implications resulting from the redemption of a reward through the Partner Rewards Program. Rewards granted under the Program may constitute taxable benefits. The Program Administrator encourages each Member to seek independent advice from their financial and tax advisor in order to understand the impact on the Member’s individual tax situation. Members are solely responsible for reporting all required information for tax purposes.
